This is a prestigious CA firm based in Edinburgh city centre who is looking for audit associates to join their team. The firm is a forward-thinking, people-oriented firm where staff are given a high degree of autonomy. They offer a wide range of services, including audit and accounting, tax advice, business support, and personal financial planning. Your new role
*External audit of accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
*Liaison and communication with colleagues, managers and partners.
*Coaching more junior staff and assisting with in-house training sessions.
*Developing and maintaining client contact and relationships.
*Ensure that work is completed within the required timescales and to the agreed budget.
*Undertake ad-hoc work as directed by the management team.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Recent experience in public practice.
*Recent external audit experience.
*Part-qualified or newly qualified CA or ACCA.
*Good communication skills are required.
*Willingness to take responsibility and suggest solutions to problems encountered.
*Proven success as a team player.
*Demonstrable ability to work to budgets and deadlines.
*IT literate - Microsoft Office, CCH Audit Automation, SAGE, Xero.
