Job Title: Paraplanner
Salary: £34,000 - £40,000
Location: Bristol
This position is with an expanding, national financial planning practice that have several offices across the UK and are continuing to grow.
They place an emphasis on client care and providing a tailored solution. They have a broad offering for clients, providing advice across a range of cases including Pensions, Investments, Protection, IHT, Tax & employee benefits along with some corporate financial planning. They have long standing relationships with a great deal of their clients and have an excellent client-retention rate to go with this.
Offering exam support, a strong benefits package and a friendly, collaborative working environment. This role would be a fantastic option for someone who enjoys administration or is looking to work within a financial services firm.
The Role:
The role would sit within the firms paraplanning team within the Bristol office and involve risk profiling, providing technical recommendations and suitability report writing, product research and working closely with the firm’s Financial Planners. There is an experienced administrative team who will also take care of some of the back office work for you and other paraplanners with a technical mindset for you to work with.
Due to it being fast paced in a growing firm, this would suit someone who is technically minded and is able to prioritise work well, whilst working in a team-based environment.

The Required Skills:
*Experience working within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management Firm is essential.
*An understanding of paraplanning with knowledge around Suitability report writing is desirable.
*Progress towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent would be advantageous.
*Personable professional who is comfortable dealing with clients both written and verbally.
*A good understand and knowledge around pensions and investments
