Job Title: SEN Learning Assistant
Location: Wandsworth, London
School Type: Primary Special Educational Needs School
Daily Rate: £90 - £100
Are you passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) succeed in their education? We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Learning Assistant to join a forward-thinking primary SEND school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, focusing on their individual learning needs.
*Work closely with teachers to implement and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
*Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages emotional and social growth.
*Support classroom activities to ensure all students are fully engaged and included.
*Maintain open communication with families and carers, providing regular updates on progress and development.
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience working with SEN students is beneficial, but we welcome applications from those with a passion for helping children thrive.
*The ability to adapt and tailor learning approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.
*Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
*A valid driver’s license and access to a car are helpful but not essential for this role in Wandsworth.
