Our Client:
A leading estate agency in Basingstoke is looking for a self-employed, highly motivated Mortgage Advisor to join their growing team. They offer a fantastic opportunity to build a successful career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
The Role:
In this hybrid role, you’ll split your time between the Basingstoke branch and working remotely, providing expert mortgage advice to our clients. This role is ideal for a self-employed Mortgage Advisor (CeMAP qualified) who thrives on building strong relationships and achieving ambitious targets.
What You’ll Do (Branch):
*Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their financial situation and property goals.
*Research and recommend the most suitable mortgage products from a whole-of-market perspective (Mortgage Only or Mortgage & Protection).
*Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
*Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to ensure a smooth and efficient mortgage journey.
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with local estate agents and property professionals.
*Contribute to a positive and professional atmosphere within the branch.
What You’ll Do (Remote):
*Conduct follow-up consultations with clients via phone, video call, or email.
*Progress mortgage applications with lenders.
*Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for mortgage approval.
*Be available to answer client questions and provide ongoing support throughout the mortgage process.
*Work one Saturday in four from home to manage client queries and maintain service levels.
Who You Are:
*A self-employed CeMAP qualified Mortgage Advisor with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
*A strong understanding of the UK mortgage market and a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from all backgrounds.
*A confident and persuasive individual with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise way.
*Highly motivated, self-disciplined, and able to manage your workload effectively in a hybrid working environment.
*A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
*A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
The Benefits:
*A competitive remuneration package of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (based on performance).
