Job Description:
A digital lifestyle and luxury platform is seeking a talented and experienced content creator with knowledge of the beauty and fashion sectors and a passion for London life to join their team as Social Media Manager.

They are a leading luxury digital destination, editing the most influential UK fashion, beauty, interiors, travel, culture and entertainment news alongside insider guides to the latest on London’s food and drink scene. They reach over 1.6 million readers monthly delivering addictive first-to-drop content, from shopping edits to reviews, interviews and more.
They pride themselves on collaboration, communication and a great culture. As a growing small business, people fit is essential. They value in-person interaction and their talented humans work seamlessly together delivering exceptional content and service - whilst also making the work day fun. To celebrate they host regular team socials, including fizz as a regular fixture to wrap their office week.
The Role
Social is a big focus for them in 2025. The ideal candidate will have a track record of developing effective social media strategies and will be responsible for managing, creating and curating sensational content, engaging with their audience, and driving brand awareness through their social media platforms.
The ideal candidate should have an exceptional eye for imagery and video, strong understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills and a creative mindset.
In line with continuous growth of editorial platform, the candidate will be a natural storyteller, creating on point visuals that reflect the brand’s editorial identity, whilst also delivering content strategies to support their flourishing commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
CHANNELS
*Instagram
*TikTok
*Facebook
*X
*Plus launching new social media channels as deemed appropriate
CONTENT CREATION + CURATION
*Creating, curating & editing on point and flawless content for their audience in line with brand guidelines
*Diversifying content formats and incorporating video across platforms
*Writing inspiring content captions to pique audience interest
*Building and nurturing their social communities
*Laying down engaging content calendars 2 weeks ahead of live dates
*Scheduling social media posts to ensure regular content drops at high traffic moments
*Managing post promotion across social channels
CONTENT STRATEGY + BRAND IDENTITY
*Identifying opportunities to take the brand’s social channels to next level
*Delivering clear brand strategies across all existing social media channels to increase brand awareness and engagement, e.g. Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, X
*Staying abreast of trending topics and trends relevant to or viable for their channels
*Staying abreast of platform functionalities and incorporating new feature updates into
*content delivery
*Regular analytic review and reporting across all channels
*Providing regular competitor analysis to ensure they are positioned at the forefront of the industry
*Establishing and/or maintaining social media brand guidelines
*Content sharing - highlighting website links daily via social channels (posts or DMs) to build network and promote cross-promotion
COMMERCIAL MONETISATION
*Incorporating commercial strategy across all social media channels to drive turnover
*Utilising affiliate programmes to track and monetise posts
*Analysing their social audience profile and opportunities for growth
*Identifying and partnering with key influencers to drive social awareness
*Managing all content briefs and contracts for social partnerships
*Utilising social listening tools to review post performance and deliver reports across editorial and partnership content drops
Required Skills and Experience
*2+ years social media experience with proven case studies
*Experience running channels within the fields of fashion, beauty, lifestyle
*Content creator
*Adept at video editing for social
*Skilled with scheduling and analytics tools
*Creative thinker
*Aesthetic flair
*Multi-tasker
*Ability to work seamlessly with editorial and commercial teams
*Existing industry-based network of influencers, PR agencies and brands
