Job Description:
A London-based tech company is looking for a Head of Finance to oversee the financial operations of their European entities
Your new role
*Prepare monthly management accounts, assist with consolidated accounts, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
*Manage cash flow, forecast requirements, and oversee supplier payments.
*Conduct weekly/monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Prepare and submit VAT, Intrastat, and EC sales/purchase returns.
*Prepare payroll data for submission to the payroll bureau.
*Manage the year-end audit and prepare the necessary documentation.
*Manage and develop the finance team, implementing efficient processes and KPIs.
*Design and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure operational efficiency.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA OR CIMA)
*Fluent in English and German (French is a plus)
*Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel
*Proven experience of managing teams
*Experience with Business Central Dynamics 365 (preferred)
