Job Description:
Are you a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment?
I’m pleased to be partnering with a growing Private Equity-backed company based in Cambridge who are looking for a new Accountant to join their high-performing finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Preparing month end management accounts with analysis and commentary
*Complete month end processes including accruals and prepayments
*Prepare and update monthly balance sheet reconciliations
*Support the CFO with the weekly cashflow forecast
*Intercompany reconciliations
*Assist with the annual budget and statutory audit prep
*Compile and check payroll data for third party payroll provider
*Oversee Accounts Payable processes and supervise 2 accounts payable assistants
Key requirements:
*Part Qualified/Finalist/Newly Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant
*Experience of working within a private equity company
*Strong understanding of financial processes and PE-backed environments.
*Previous experience of working for an international organisation
*Payroll experience - UK and overseas, working with 3rd party providers
*Someone with ambition, drive, determination, high energy and confidence
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow with a company that has an ambitious 5 year growth plan.
Salary is up to £55,000 plus benefits.
Hybrid working is available, with a minimum expectation of 1 day a week in the Cambridge office.
