Job Description:
Senior Software Engineer (Visual Systems)
Aerospace & Defence
Warton
4 days on-site per week
Up to £52,400
We are working with an organisation that provides products and services to UK and US government agencies to span areas including Maritime, Air, Land, Cyber, Electronics and Aerospace. You’ll be joining during an exciting time of growth and innovation, working on multi-billion-pound programmes of work for the Ministry of Defence.
Key Responsibilities:
*Design, implementation, and testing.
*Developing software solutions.
*Testing completed functionality.
*Adhering to project processes and software development practices.
*Report on progress and provide feedback to team members.
*Supporting and mentoring Junior Engineers through peer reviews etc.
Background required:
*Visual Systems - Unity, Unreal Engine etc
*C# and C++
*Understanding of full software lifecycles
*Having worked in a highly regulated environment, ideally Aircraft/Defence
*Objected-orientated design/development
