Our client a dynamic and innovative manufacturing business, committed driving excellence throughout the shop floor whilst implementing continuous improvement are looking to appoint a maintenance engineer. The successful maintenance engineer will be experienced within a manufacturing setting and have the ability to work to a planned maintenance schedule and on a reactive basis.
Roles and Responsibilities
*Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment focusing on electrical systems
*Diagnose electrical faults and minimize down time maintaining production efficiencies
*Support the mechanical engineers as and when required
*Work closely with the production team to identify and implement improvements
*Ensure a high level of health and safety is maintained, always.
Qualifications:
*NVQ Level 3 HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering
*Strong knowledge of electrical systems including PLCs, motors, inverters and control panels.
*Basic mechanical systems understanding
*Proactive problem solver
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
