Job Description:
*Previous soldering & wiring experience desirable but not essential.
*Good dexterity , eye for detail and quality. Tidy and organised.
*Positive can-do approach is essential
ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY:
As an Assembly Technician you will play a key role in the manufacture of products to a high-quality standard using hand tools and assembly jigs.
ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Testing to specified test parameters.
• Recording build/test information.
• Rejecting and recording nonconforming product.
• Continuous quality inspection of your own work.
• Maintenance of bench stock items, bench top tools and manufacturing aids.
• Use of PC systems.
• Working to standard construction or build times.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
• Although previous soldering and wiring experience desirable this is not essential as full training will be given.
• Previous test equipment and manual handling is an advantage.
• PC Literate with general numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good dexterity and an eye for detail and quality.
• Organised and self-motivated individual with the initiative to prioritise.
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
• Tidy and organised.
• Positive and friendly approach.
• A correct aptitude, willing to undergo training and a positive can-do approach is essential.
Hours for this role: Monday to Thursday from 7am to 3.45pm and 7am to 11.3am on a Friday.
