Job Overview
An Accountancy firm in Northallerton are looking to add an experienced Tax Compliance Manager to join their team in Northallerton. This is a pure Tax Compliance role.
Responsibilities
*Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to financial regulations.
*Conduct regular audits and assessments of financial practices, including accounts payable and financial accounting processes.
*Analyse financial data using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage to identify potential compliance issues.
*Collaborate with various departments to provide guidance on compliance-related matters and promote best practices.
*Prepare detailed reports on compliance status and present findings to senior management.
*Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the financial services industry and advise the organisation accordingly.
*Provide training and support to staff on compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements
*Proven experience in a Tax compliance role within Practice
*Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is highly desirable.
*Used to a faced paced environment
*Highly technical
*CTA or ATT qualified with a minimum of 5 years experience
*Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
*Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
