Job Description:
Role Overview
The Bristol Property Management team has been expanding year on year and has maintained growth within the market despite challenging market conditions. We are now looking for a proactive and organized Property Assistant to join our commercial property management team. This administrative-focused role will support the efficient operation of our properties by handling various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth communication across the business and with tenants, and maintaining essential documentation.
No two days are the same in Property Management so we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who takes pride in their work. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team to support our shared goals.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a wide variety of administrative tasks to assist the wider team, some of which are detailed below:
*Extracting lease information to update internal systems and schedules
*Updating internal and external reports, including spreadsheets and tenancy schedules
*Chasing tenant arrears and reporting collection stats
*Invoice coding
*Raising Purchase Orders
*Liasing with suppliers
*Acting as a conduit for tenant communications
*Onboarding and offboarding new tenants
*Change of tenancies with utility providers
Key Skills
*2-5 years Administrative experience (Real Estate experience preferred)
*Exceptional IT skills - specifically in Excel and Word
*Detail orientated
*Positive ’can do’ attitude
*Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
*Ability to take ownership but work as part of a team
*Good skills in maths and/or accounting
Team Overview
The Bristol team comprises of 2 Directors, 1 Associate Director, 2 Associates, and 1 Surveyor supported by a Team Adminisitrator. The team has grown annually and a key model for its growth is nurturing talent and developing careers in line with personal goals and ambitions. We are known for working hard but having fun whilst we do so! As part of the Bristol PM team you will have exposure to key clients and well renknowned properties throughout the South West.
