Location: Manchester, Cambridge, London or York

The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Director to support the growth of the consultancy across the Northern regions. We are looking for a commercially astute, client-focused professional with the technical skills required to manage key projects at a senior level, while working collaboratively with a wider multidisciplinary team.
The Position Will Involve:
*Leading the planning agenda for the region, both internally and externally.
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships to generate new business and capitalise on previous successes.
*Networking and business development, establishing valuable connections within the industry and local planning authorities.
*Identifying and securing opportunities with both new and existing clients.
*Leading presentations, producing final reports, and overseeing proposals for tenders and client bids.
*Leveraging technical expertise to identify and develop innovative solutions for clients.
*Negotiating major contracts, including managing legal and contractual matters.
*Managing complex and large-scale projects to a high standard.
*Providing technical leadership on specialised planning projects.
