Job Description:
Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 Hours
We are currently looking to recruit an Environmental, Sustainability and Social Value Coordinator to join our team working around our sites in the East Midlands Region.
As our ESS Coordinator, you will assist in developing and maintaining best practice, driving standards and monitoring performance against our commitments to environmental and sustainability excellence. You’ll ensure all projects in the region comply with associated environmental legislation, consents, permits, licenses and targets, conduct environmental risk assessments, considering how risks could be reduced, whilst preparing and submitting relevant consents and exceptions.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have previous experience within a similar role, educated to degree level in an environmental field (e.g. Geography, Ecology), you’ll also hold an IEMA / Environmental Management certificate. You will have excellent industry best practice knowledge. Confident in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, you’ll promote proactive engagement and communication with project teams, subcontractors and external stakeholders
