Payroll and HR Advisor | High-End Cinema Group | London/Hybrid
Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a High-End Cinema group business based in Central London to recruit a Payroll and HR Advisor.
The Business
Our client is a luxury cinema group that aims to provide an immersive and upscale experience for film fanatics to enjoy their favourite movies. Based in iconic venues across London, customers are given the five-star treatment as they attend new-releases and old favourites with a high-quality audio and screen system. With several locations, they’re on track to grow to become a household name in quality cinema.
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days expected in the office per week.
The Role:
Supporting a talented Finance Director and small finance team, this Payroll Advisor will have the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and exciting business. The main responsibilities of this role surround managing a high-volume payroll cycle, involving both salaried and hourly rates.
While the ideal candidate is very strong in autonomous payroll management, there will also be some elements of HR Administration and systems implementation in this role. Primarily you’d be responsible for issuing contracts, supporting with employee onboarding, and managing leave requests, and supporting the team with the implementation of a new software as they as they continue to make their function more efficient.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience overseeing payroll within the hospitality industry, and can work fairly independently. The knowledge of HiBob software (formerly Pento) and Deputy (staff rota software in the hospitality industry) is preferred but not essential.
Duties:
*Run weekly and monthly payroll cycles for employees (salaried and hourly rates)
*Add and register new employees to payroll system (ensuring accuracy with data entry, calculations, deductions, and adjustments)
*Assist with the implementation of HiBob, supporting with data transfers and employee set up
*Issue employment contracts
*Support with employee onboarding
*Managing employee leave requests
*Verifying working hours and pay rates
*Answer payroll queries from employees
*Ad hoc tasks to support the Finance Director

Salary: £40,000-£45,000
Location: Central London
Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days WFH (work from home/remote)
