Job Description:
MLC Partners are excited to be supporting an NHS Trust to recruit a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to support the delivery of high-quality financial services and contribute to key decision-making processes.
About the Role:
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Trust’s financial integrity and accuracy. From preparing statutory accounts to managing financial systems and supporting capital programs, your contributions will directly impact the Trust’s ability to deliver exceptional services to its patients.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with NHS financial regulations.
*Produce monthly reports, including cash flow and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Oversee the maintenance of the Asset & Lease Register and capital accounting processes.
*Ensure the Trust adheres to Treasury Management policies, including cash flow monitoring.
*Collaborate with auditors and external partners to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
*Part-qualified or fully qualified.
*Financial experience in the NHS or a similar complex organisation.
*Expertise in cash flow management, statutory reporting, and financial governance.
*Familiarity with financial systems, such as Oracle, and advanced Excel skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data to diverse audiences.
