Job Description:
Job Title: Freight & Logistics Co-Ordinator
Location: Worcester
Salary: from £30,000 depending on experience
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)
Due to expansion, we are recruiting for a Freight & Logistics Co-Ordinator, for a well established, rapidly growing business based in Worcester. We are ideally looking for a candidate who has experience working with freight forwarders, importing from the far east.

Details of Role:
*Liaise with freight forwarders for the costs of both airfreight and sea freight consignments.
*Approve bookings and ensure correct documentation is in place for Customs clearance.
*Liaising between factories and freight forwarders to ensure bookings are sent through and space secured on required vessels.
*Reconcile supplier invoices to load schedules, ensuring correct pricing and quantity, updating our internal SAP system with shipment details.
*Produce commodity code listing and reconciliation to invoice and packing list for freight forwarders ready for Customs clearance process.
*Work with yearly external Audit company to provide reports, OPR records and supplier and purchase invoice trails.
*Work with HMRC for the import / export audit and also OPR audit, ensuring all paperwork trails are available and accurate for audit.
Experience Needed:
*Experience of working with freight forwarders to import from the far east.
*Motivated and positive individual.
*Computer literate with experience of MS Office programs.
*Great interpersonal and organisational skills.
*Excellent attention to detail.
