Accounts Payable/Finance Assistant
£35,000 + Bonus
Full time - Permanent
West London (Hybrid 3 days)
My client is a premium beauty and wellness brand.

Due to rapid growth and expansion, the opportunity to recruit a Finance Assistant has arisen. The successful candidate will play a crucial role working closely with the Head of Finance and another Finance Assistant. You will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable (A/P) function.
Responsibilities
*Take sole charge of the A/P function
*Process suppliers’ invoices, credit notes, accruals, prepayments and deal with queries
*Aged creditors / supplier’s statements reconciliation
*Maintain account information and suppliers’ records
*Bank reconciliations (multi-currency)
*Create weekly payments list and raising payments
*Maintain accurate stock values and levels
*Analyse purchasing data in line with budgets and company’s Mission and Vision KPIs
*Work closely with Head of Finance and Finance Assistant to prepare the monthly management accounts, VAT reports, cashflow management and reporting
Requirements
*Accounting qualification or solid bookkeeper experience
*Solid understanding of accounting to Trial Balance, including VAT returns, bank reconciliations and AP experience
*Experience in MFGCC (Manufacturing) is essential
*Experience in using ERP Systems (Netsuite) is an advantage
*Proficiency in SAP is an advantage
*Able to work under pressure, with high accuracy, and meet strict deadlines
