Job Description:
What the day will look like:
* Manage a global client portfolio on both wholesale and retail bases, handling renewals and new business, from crafting effective go-to-market strategies to coordinating placement slips with the support team.
* Conduct risk reviews, prepare underwriting presentations, and review insurance documentation produced by the support team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Drive portfolio growth by building new client relationships, leading pitches, and executing successful tenders.
* Manage and develop market relationships in support of the Marine broking strategy, fostering new connections and strengthening existing ones.
* Work closely with Marine clients to consistently deliver on global best practices.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Strong understanding of London market insurance dynamics and processes.
* Technical insurance knowledge, ideally with experience using Brokasure.
* Proficiency in industry IT systems and data analysis.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with compliance requirements and FCA regulations.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
Salary: £80k - £100k DOE
