About the Role:

An esteemed public practice firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. This Senior Accountant role is ideal for individuals who are qualified (ACCA / ACA), Part Qualified (PQ) or Qualified by Experience (QBE). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance and providing strategic financial advice to clients.

Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
*Manage and oversee the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
*Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to assist in decision-making processes.
*Liaise with clients to provide expert financial advice and address any queries.
*Ensure timely completion of audits and tax returns.
*Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
*Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations.

Senior Accountant Qualifications and Experience:
*ACCA/ACA/Qualified by Experience (QBE) or Part Qualified (PQ).
*Proven experience in a similar role within a public practice environment.
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
