Job Description:
We have an incredible opportunity for a Digital Platform Support Analyst to join a global media broadcasting company in London on a 6 month temp contract.
The role itself:
This role will involve working with a team of junior and senior analysts and involves being the first point of contact for technical issues and incident management related to live streaming.
The team would be responsible for dealing with major incidents, technical issues and escalations related to live stream of primarily sports events.
The role involves:
*incident management and support
*supporting an extensive suite of Live, VOD, OTT/Digital Playout via client applications
*focusing on live Sports across many channels
*tech support
*monitoring live video streams
*analysing issues
The role is full time and on a shift pattern of 12 hour shifts, working 4 days on, 4 days off and then 5 days on, 5 days off. Flexibility will be needed given the nature of the role and the live streaming of major events.
This is a temp role for 6 months with the view to extend if things go well.
There is some flexibility to work remotely during early shifts, however, this is predominantly an office based role in West London.
Key skills:
*Previous experience working in digital technical/media operations
*Experience in monitoring and supporting OTT platforms.
*Experience with CMS and EPG systems.
*Excellent attention to detail
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to work under pressure and react quickly
*Strong IT skills
*A keen interest or experience working with the sports industry would be very beneficial.
*Given the global nature of the company, additional languages would be a real plus.
Ideally candidates will have a degree in Digital Media, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar.
