As a SharePoint Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting our SharePoint environment to ensure smooth operation and collaboration across the organization. You will work closely with various departments to design, implement, and maintain SharePoint solutions that meet business needs while ensuring high performance, security, and availability.
Key Responsibilities
*Administer and maintain the company’s SharePoint environment (on-premise, online, or hybrid).
*Monitor and troubleshoot SharePoint services to ensure high availability and performance.
*Manage SharePoint site collections, libraries, lists, and workflows.
*Customize SharePoint sites based on user requirements and ensure a user-friendly experience.
*Implement security best practices and manage permissions for SharePoint users and groups.
*Assist with SharePoint migrations, upgrades, and patch management.
*Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to users.
*Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and design SharePoint solutions to optimize workflows.
*Stay updated on the latest SharePoint features, updates, and industry trends.
Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
*Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator, with expertise in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, or hybrid environments.
*Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, governance, and site collection administration.
*Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint management.
*Familiarity with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive integrations.
*Solid understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, and compliance policies.
*Knowledge of SharePoint migration tools and processes (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix).
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
*Experience with SharePoint development, including custom web parts, workflows, and apps.
*Microsoft SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate) are a plus.
*Experience with other collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Yammer) is beneficial.
