?? Hours: Flexible shifts available
About the Role
As a Safe House Advocate, you’ll provide vital emotional and practical support to survivors of trafficking and modern slavery. Working in a safe and secure environment, you’ll help individuals navigate through the recovery process, access essential rights and services, and build brighter futures.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a caseload of residents recognized within the National Referral Mechanism (NRM)
*Advocate for residents to access ECAT rights and navigate the NRM process
*Assess risks, implement safeguarding measures, and respond promptly to incidents
*Conduct regular health and safety checks to maintain a secure living environment
*Hold key work sessions, recording interactions on case management systems
*Liaise with public and private services to meet residents’ diverse needs
*Draft professional correspondence to agencies like the Home Office
*Attend team meetings, supervision sessions, and mandatory training
What We’re Looking For
*Essential: Experience in safeguarding vulnerable adults and incident management
*Essential: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently
*Essential: Knowledge of GDPR principles and safeguarding protocols
*Essential: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
*Desirable: Experience supporting survivors of trafficking or modern slavery
