Compliance Officer Reed Banking are currently assisting an international Bank in their recruitment for a Compliance Officer! In this role, successful applicants will play a crucial role in ensuring that the bank adheres to all regulatory requirements and maintains a robust compliance framework. This position reports directly to the Regulatory Compliance Manager and offers a dynamic work environment where you can grow professionally.
Day-to-day of the role: *Conduct testing and assessments of the bank’s activities, systems, and controls as outlined in the compliance monitoring plan.
*Report on the regulatory control environment to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and maintain risk within appetite and tolerance levels.
*Ensure timely completion of all periodic and event-driven reviews by the relationship management teams.
*Produce compliance-related risk summaries and respond to periodic transaction reviews.
*Complete analysis of transactional information to identify risks, trends, and potential wary activities.
*Assist with the delivery of the Bank’s annual training plan and support external audit reviews and Information Requests.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Relevant professional qualification preferred, or willingness to undertake studies leading to a suitable qualification.
*Experience in a regulated environment within the financial services industry.
*Familiarity with CASS, MiFID, and trade/transaction reporting.
*Familiarity with Dow Jones, Lexis Nexus is an advantage.
