We are seeking an experienced and proactive Group Financial Controller to join the leadership team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. This is a pivotal role, offering the opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a complex, fast-paced business and drive organisational success.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the group’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
*Lead and manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
*Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and growth initiatives.
*Provide insightful analysis to senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making.
*Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
*Optimise financial controls, processes, and systems to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
*Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors, ensuring robust financial governance.
*Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team across multiple locations.
*Drive cash flow management and working capital optimisation strategies.
*Partner with other departments to assess the financial impact of business activities.
