Job Description:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Gate Automation Engineer to join a well-established, family-run fire and security company that has been serving the local business community for over 30 years.
With the company aiming to expand its gate automation division, this role offers the potential to grow into a lead engineer or managerial position. You could eventually oversee the division and have the opportunity to build a team of engineers.
What you’ll do: As a Gate Automation Engineer you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of automation systems, including gates, barriers and doors for commercial clients within Cheshire and surrounding areas.
*Install, inspect, and test automation systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
*Perform maintenance and repairs on automation systems to maintain optimal functionality.
*Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation systems to resolve technical problems.
What you’ll need:
*The ideal Automation Engineer will have a proven track record of successful installation, maintenance and repairs or Gates, Barriers, Doors and other similar automation equipment.
*You will also need a driving license with the flexibility to travel to customers (usually within a 1-hour drive of Crewe

*Basic salary £40 - £50K
*Company Van and Fuel Card provided
*Office Location: Crewe
*Working hours: Mon – Fri (8am – 4pm)
*28 days annual leave + Additional day off on your birthday
