Job Description:
Primary School Teacher - KS1 or KS2 (Dependant on experience) *Job Type: Full-time
*Location: South Lancaster
*Salary: £153.85 - £196.56 per day (This will increase in January 2025)
We are seeking a Primary School Teacher for an immediate start at a very popular school in South Lancaster. This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or experienced teachers with knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum. The position offers a competitive daily rate, which is paid to scale, including a forthcoming pay increase for new teachers.
Day-to-day of the role: *Teach across different key stages or classes as required, adapting to the needs of each group.
*Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that engage and challenge students, following the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
*Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for examinations and providing feedback to help them improve.
*Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the teaching practice and educational experience for students.
*Participate in and contribute to the school community through extracurricular activities and school events.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum is highly desirable.
*Ability to work flexibly across different key stages or classes.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues.
*Suitable qualifications for teaching at the primary level in the UK.
