Your new role
The company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join the team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design and construction process, working closely with architects, engineers, energy assessors, construction & sales teams to ensure the successful delivery of residential projects.
Roles include:
*Prepare detailed architectural drawings and plans using CAD software.
*Assist in the development of design concepts and construction documentation.
*Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
*Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
*Review and modify plans as necessary to accommodate changes and ensure accuracy.
*Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
*Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
*Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD).
*Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
*The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
*Previous experience in residential construction is an advantage.
What you’ll get in return
The salary for this role is between £30,000 & £40,000 and will be negotiated dependent on the successful candidates’ experience. On offer, there will be a hybrid working model whereby the individual can work from home 1 day per week. You will have the opportunity to work towards a promotion to development manager/architectural designer.
