Job Description:
HR Business Partner - NHS Provider and not-for-profit, community interest company, our client works to improve healthcare in Barnsley.
In this HR Business Partner role, you will build personal credibility and support senior managers in making key decisions regarding workforce, HR strategy and people matters.
Details & Benefits:
*Location: Barnsley, with travel to local sites within the borough.
*Full time, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours.
*Salary circa £42,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
*6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
As HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive and solutions focussed service across all employment issues that adds value and is in line with strategic aims, objectives, and business plans.
In addition to developing and applying the organisation’s HR policies and procedures, you will also provide advice, coaching and support to managers and staff throughout the employee life cycle, and undertake specialist project work.
ABOUT YOU:

We are seeking someone with a breadth and depth of experience of working as a standalone HR Business Partner.
As a HR Business Partner, you will be an Associate Member of CIPD and have a qualification in Human Resource Management, or demonstrable equivalent professional experience in a Senior HR role.
Good knowledge of employment legislation, including the law relating to redundancy, retirement, equal opportunities, paternity and maternity rights, disciplinary, grievances and TUPE is also required.
KEY DUTIES:
*Support the business in formulating HR strategies, policies and plans in all areas of HR, and understand the priorities, challenges, and key drivers to influence all key decisions.
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
*Coach and support line managers on absence, disciplinary and grievance issues and ensure managers have the appropriate skills to manage these people processes.
*Provide a recruitment and selection service to meet the organisation’s resourcing needs in a cost-effective manner.
*Develop and implement initiatives to drive retention and engagement strategies.
*Keep abreast of developments in employment legislation and case law and to be pro-active in ensuring managers are appropriately briefed on relevant changes in new legislation.
*Manage performance processes, appraisals, and training and development requirements for the organisation.
