This role involves working closely with Key Stage 1 students, particularly those identified as having SEN, supporting their learning and development in a vibrant and inclusive environment.The school has a fantastic reputation in the local area as a hub for the community, supporting families and encouraging engagement.Key Responsibilities:
*Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
*Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
*Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
*Prepare and organise learning materials and resources.
*Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensure their inclusion in all activities.
*Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teaching Assistant with relevant certifications.
*Experience working with Key Stage 2 students.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
*A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
*Knowledge of SEN and strategies to support diverse learners is desirable.
