Job Description:
We are keen to speak with a Project Manager to join an international banking client of ours, based in the City of London. This is an initial 6-12 month contract, with the expectation of an extension.
You will be joining a high-impact program within the Fund Services division of a leading global financial institution. This role will focus on supporting the execution of market rationalisation and operational transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will assist in driving key operational improvements, supporting process transformations, and contributing to the delivery of strategic projects across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities *Assist in the delivery of process improvement and transformation projects aimed at rationalising the business model and enhancing operational efficiency.
*Support project teams in managing day-to-day project activities, including scheduling, resource management, and tracking milestones.
*Work closely with senior project leads and cross-functional teams (Technology, HR, Risk, Compliance, Legal) to ensure project objectives are met.
*Help prepare regular status reports, project documentation, and presentations for senior leadership.
*Conduct data analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis to support project planning and execution.
*Participate in change management activities to ensure smooth transitions during process and operational changes.
Requirements
*5+ years of experience managing projects within financial services or consulting, focusing on process improvements or operational transformations.
*Strong organisational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
*Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering actionable insights and improvements.
*Familiarity with Agile methodologies and process improvement tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, or DMAIC.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and present information effectively.
*Experience in data analysis, process mapping, and reporting, with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools.
*A proactive, detail-oriented, and flexible approach to managing competing priorities and project requirements.
*Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies is a plus.
