Job Description:
Investigo are currently working with a leading provider of business services. Their operations cover numerous countries and the business employs over 2,000 people across multiple branches. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join the team. This individual will need to have a business partnering approach and be able to present to, influence and liaise with non-finance and senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
*Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
*Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
*Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
*Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.
*Assist with tax planning and strategies.
*Coordinate and prepare for external and internal audits.
*Address audit findings and implement recommendations.
*Ensure compliance with internal controls.
*Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
*Analyse budget variances and report findings to management.
*Support financial planning and analysis activities.
*Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
*Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
*Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
*Work closely with other departments to gather financial information.
*Communicate financial results and findings to management.
*Provide financial guidance and support to non-financial managers.
Skills/Qualifications:
*Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant
*3-5 years of experience in management/financial accounting
*Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
