Job Description:
Job Title: Customer Service Administrator
Type: Temporary - ongoing
Location: Ashton-Under-Lyne
Salary: £11.44 per hour paid weekly
About the company:
A large well-known public-sector business based in the heart of Ashton are looking for someone to join the team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting chance to work with this business, in a busy team where no 2 days are the same and every conversation had with users is different.
Key Responsibilities:
*Providing advice, supply information and supporting residents/service users where necessary
*Queries include: Council tax, Housing Benefit, Tax support and much more
*The appointed person will assist in making claims in respect of housing benefits
*Assess and process applications
*Helping with applications relating to blue badges
*Attend weekly meetings and continuous training meetings
*Plus much more
Person Specification:
*Previous experience working within customer service handling complex queries
*Strong IT skills with the ability to multi task - Log info/navigate around systems whilst communicating on the phone
*Work to strict deadlines
The working hours are Monday to Friday typical office hours, and the hourly rate of pay is £11.44 and this is paid on a weekly basis.
Please note that due to the nature of this business and the access the appointed person will have on the systems, you will need to have a DBS carried out against you.
