Job Description:
We are looking for an industrious Accounts Assistant to join our Accounting & Finance team in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector. The role is based in Dundee and requires a highly organised individual with an aptitude for numbers and meticulous attention to detail.
Full time, Monday to Friday40 hours per week(flexible with times)

Description
· Maintain accounting and controlling systems of the company.
· Support internal and external audit.
· Provide support to Management Accountants.
· Maintain and update the purchase ledger.
· Review and reconcile the creditors and debtors accounts.
· Co-ordinate with Finance Assistant (Bank) regarding timing of payments and preparation of payment runs.
· Maintain and update the sales ledger.
· Conduct credit control procedures.
· Processing employee expenses.
· Support commercial procurement processes.
· Ad hoc projects as required by the Head of Finance.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
*A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
*Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
*Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
*Strong organisational and time-management skills.
*Good understanding of financial and accounting principles.
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Experience of managing financial operations, designing and implementing suitable processes and working in a dynamic environment.
*Competence in Microsoft Office 365 and Sage Line 200
