Event Sales Executive - Golf Club
Burhill Golf Club, the esteemed flagship of the BGL Group, is nestled in the heart of Walton on Thames, Surrey. As a premier members’ club, it features two championship golf courses, exceptional practice facilities, and a magnificent Grade II listed clubhouse offering stylish bars and versatile function spaces. We provide an elegant and prestigious setting for private dining, perfectly suited for occasions ranging from intimate suppers with friends to grand five-course events for up to 150 guests.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Event Sales Executive to join our dynamic team of three at a prestigious golf club location. The role will involve working in a dedicated office on-site, with the primary responsibility of driving sales and achieving targets across a variety of revenue streams, including functions, memberships, and golf-related services.
*Achieve Monthly Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets for weddings, functions, golf memberships, and other business activities.
*Sales Activity: Disciplined approach to all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting new leads, following up with potential clients, and conducting venue tours to convert prospects into confirmed bookings.
*Maximise Revenue Potential: Demonstrate strong business acumen to confidently present pricing and maximize revenue generation opportunities.
*Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Heads of Department to build rapport and gain a comprehensive understanding of all sales areas, including weddings, golf memberships, and other events.
*Sales and Marketing: Utilise modern techniques and marketing strategies to enhance the club’s visibility and attract new clients.

About You:
*Previous experience of selling Functions and Weddings
*Proactive and able to demonstrate a proven record of delivering results
*Flexibility to work weekends and some evenings
