Pay rates: £22 per hour
Pay Mechanism: Direct Engagement
Contract Duration: 09/12/2024 to 09/02/2025

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ludlow Community Hospital. This role involves working on the inpatient ward in a community hospital setting, providing holistic care and rehabilitation to patients. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ recovery journeys within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions for inpatients.
*Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement tailored care plans.
*Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, focusing on promoting independence and quality of life.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with professional and Trust standards.
*Participate in case reviews, discharge planning, and team meetings to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
*HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
*Proven experience in inpatient ward settings, preferably within a community hospital.
*Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills.
*Ability to independently manage a complex caseload.
*Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
