Your new company
A global law firm with a presence across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas is looking for a qualified Partnership Accountant to join the team. The firms expertise spans a variety of industries including, aviation, construction, insurance, shipping and energy.
Your new role
In your new role as a Partnership Accountant you will report into the Head of Tax and the Group Tax Manager to provide tax compliance and advisory services to the firm and its partners.
*Prepare tax computations for partnerships and LLPs within the group, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
*Organise and compile information for personal tax reliefs.
*Assist in the bi-annual partners’ tax payments process, working with external tax advisors to ensure smooth transactions.
*Calculate partners’ tax reserves, including DTR and equalisation.
*Support the firm’s cash flow forecasting related to tax payments.
*Review annual tax and statutory compliance deadlines with other tax advisors/accountants to maintain an accurate compliance calendar.
*Prepare and periodically review process notes, identifying areas for improvement in tax processes.
*Serve as a key contact for HMRC, partners, external tax advisors, and partners’ accountants on tax matters.
*Provide support in the absence of the Tax Manager.
*Undertake ad hoc projects related to the firm’s and partners’ tax affairs.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, you will be CTA or ATT qualified with a background in partnership or personal tax. You will be confident in providing tax compliance services within a professional services or financial services environment. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
