Join Us as a Contract Manufacturing Engineer in Swindon

As our ideal candidate, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing production processes, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed the highest standards of quality. Your expertise in J-STD or IPC 620 protocols and your hands-on experience with time-served mechanical assembly will be crucial as you:
* Streamline and enhance production workflows.
* Implement and uphold rigorous quality assurance measures.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to minimize waste and reduce costs.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. At least five years of hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing projects, showcasing your depth of practical knowledge.
2. Certification in Lean practices, preferably Green or Black Belt, demonstrating your commitment to process improvement.
3. Experience of J-STD or IPC 620 protocols
4. Extensive experience of working in a mechanical assembly environment
It is also highly desirable if you have experience of using CAD (SolidWorks or Creo) to design fixtures for assembly.
The role requires to be onsite 4 days a week.
