Job Description:
This is a brand new role and an opportunity to join a fantastic commercial insurance business (winners of numerous best employer awards) in a trainee role, with plenty of support provided and the chance to develop your career within corporate broking.
The branch director is well known for creating an excellent and rewarding working environment, with a very low staff turnover and enviably high level of client retention. He is committed to providing an environment with work / life balance and the opportunity to work on a flexible hybrid basis.
In this position you will be supporting the team, dealing with a wide variety of commercial insurances, starting with mainly administrative duties, learning the Acturis system and quickly moving onto regular contact with clients and insurers.
During this period of learning, you will be fully supported in studying towards the CII qualifications and will be provided with a lots of "on the job" training, as well as having the opportunity to attend insurance product courses, hosted my major insurer partners.
Ideal applicants will have at least 12 months insurance experience, ideally gained within an insurance broking environment, with some previous use of the Acturis system. You will be a well organised individual with strong regulatory administration skills, a good level of attention to detail and keen to develop your career within an insurance broking environment.
