We are looking for a Cyber Security Assurance Tester to join our Cyber Security Assurance team at Six Degrees. The core focus of the Cyber Security Assurance Tester is to run cyber security assessments and occasionally scope penetration tests accurately and ensuring personal compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
You will focus on delivering accurate technical results in accordance with a scope and test plan and performing a broad range of penetration tests that demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach.
We’re looking for you to apply your knowledge of configuration errors, vulnerabilities, and coding flaws to create and execute a series of tests to validate the security of a system or product. You will share the penetration test results to both technical and non-technical audiences and enable collaboration between stakeholders.
In addition, we’re looking for someone that is in-line with a CHECK qualifications, i.e., holds one of the following certifications - CREST Registered Penetration Tester (CRT) and Cyber Scheme Team Member (CSTM).
Ideally, candidates will have had previous experience within multiple areas of testing (e.g., Mobile Applications, Thick Clients, Internal/External Infrastructures, Social Engineering, Configuration Reviews). You’ll also have a strong understanding of Information Technology and actively maintain an awareness of developments in the penetration testing and Information Security field. The role requires SC clearance, all successful candidates would to be put through this vetting process.
