Chichester College have two exciting opportunities for you to join us as a EFL Teacher at our Chichester campus. You will join us on a full time, permanent basisand in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £26,451- £28,907 per annum.
The EFL Teacher role:
Chichester English Language School is the British Council accredited EFL department of Chichester College, part of the Chichester College Group. We are looking for a full time, permanent EFL Teacher. You will have a CELTA (or equivalent) qualification in EFL and a degree as well as experience of teaching in this field. You will have a high standard of professionalism, be able to work at a fast pace and cope efficiently with record keeping and other administrative duties as well as teaching. You will also need to have a passion for teaching as well as an innovative and creative approach, with a focus on student learning. You will be able to deliver engaging and inspiring teaching and learning using up to date resources.
Key Responsibilities of ourEFL Teacher:
*Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.
*Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.
*Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters in a timely manner.
*Delivering best practice in curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration British Council guidelines.
*Utilitising CLASS, GEL and other information systems as directed to improve efficiency and the student experience.
*Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.
*Attending training on current developments in EFL teaching practice.
Our ideal EFL Teacher should have the below skills and experience:
*TEFLI qualification
*Current EFL teaching methodologies (including use of ILT)
*Experience teaching and assessing students
*The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally and in writing
