Accounts Admin
Chessington
28k - 30k per annum
Officed based - potential for hybrid working
Hours: 9am - 5.30pm
I am working with an organisation based in Chessington who have a brand new opening for an Accounts Assistant to provide support and add value to their small finance team. The role will report into the Group Finance Manager.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing sales and supplier invoices, managing cash flows, handling transactions, and performing reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
*Process sales invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing.
*Handle supplier invoices, verify details, and ensure prompt payment.
*Manage cash flows, including monitoring and forecasting.
*Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
*Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
*Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
*Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
*Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
*Experience with Xero accounting software is highly desirable.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Excellent organizational and time management skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Qualifications:
*A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
*Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
*QBE or actively studying towards an AAT Qualification
