TSR Legal are seeking an experienced Conveyancer with strong title checking skills to join a dedicated Title Checking Team in Newport. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of various transaction types and the ability to conduct title checks independently and to a high standard. This role also involves handling post-completion tasks, including reporting on management packs, mortgage offers, and searches, as well as addressing replies to enquiries. The position offers flexibility with remote working and adaptable hours.
Key Responsibilities:
*Reviewing titles for Freehold, Leasehold, and New Build properties, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
*Raising and resolving necessary enquiries related to the property title.
*Preparing detailed and comprehensive reports on property titles for clients.
*Supporting live conveyancing teams by providing guidance on complex transactions.
*Managing post-completion tasks, including replies to enquiries, and handling management packs, mortgage offers, and searches.
*Assisting with auditing and other departmental tasks as required.
*Working towards agreed timeframes and billing targets.
Essential Skills & Experience:
*Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a conveyancing role.
*At least 3 years’ experience in title checking.
*Experience managing your own caseload.
*Knowledge of Leasehold properties.
*Experience with New Builds.
*Auditing experience.
