Accounts Assistant *Annual Salary: £25,000 to £30,000
*Location: Southend-on-Sea
*Job Type: Full-time (No Hybrid)

Day-to-day of the role: *Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank statements.
*Check and process invoices with precision.
*Keep the general ledger up-to-date, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
*Assist internal accountants with various accounting tasks.
*Handle payments efficiently.
*Contribute to financial reporting tasks.
*Assist with treasury reporting activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Some experience in accounting is essential; AAT level 2 or higher is preferable.
*Basic understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.
*Beneficial but not essential.
*Beneficial but not essential.
*Strong organisational and time-management skills.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*Enthusiasm for further accounting studies and career progression.
