Role purpose
As Import/Export Controller you’ll become a pivotal member of the Supply Chain team in processing shipments to and from global customers.

As Import/Export Controller you’ll:
*Process shipments to and from global customers
*Maintain adherence to import and export procedures and controls
*Audit import declarations to ensure compliance with HRMC procedures
*Resolve queries with shipments right through to completion
*Constantly monitor production schedules to ensure timely collections to meet with agreed customer schedules
*Negotiate with carriers to ensure the most cost effective shipment methods
 As Import/Export Controller you’ll have:
*Nautral ability to self-manage and be proactive
*Prior experience of logistics compliance
*Knowledge of stock movement transactions 
*Proficiency across Microsoft Office programs including Excel
*Good customer service and administrative skills
*Strong attention to detail
*A methodical, analytic and process driven approach to work 
*The ability to handle multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines, within a fast-paced environment
