Job Description:
Role: Production Operative Location: Near Blackwood
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary
Working Pattern:
*Shift Schedule: Continental shift pattern (day and night shifts).
*Hours: 7 AM - 7 PM and 7 PM - 7 AM.
*Flexibility: Required to work weekends and bank holidays as part of the rota.
Hourly Rate:
*£11.44 per hour
*£12.70 per hour after 12 weeks
Responsibilities *Quality Checks: *Visually and physically inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
*Document findings and report consecutive defects to Line Supervision.
*Equipment Operation: Operate processing equipment as needed.
*Sampling: Collect and supply product samples for quality assurance.
*Standards Maintenance: *Maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) in all activities.
*Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives by suggesting and implementing improvements.
*Compliance & Housekeeping: Ensure adherence to company rules, regulations, and ISO 9000 quality systems while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
About You *Experience: Previous production experience is advantageous but not essential.
*Commitment: *Ability to work full-time in the specified shift pattern.
*Please note: We cannot consider candidates on a Student Visa.
*Transport: Access to private transport is essential.
