Job Description:
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in education? We are seeking enthusiastic a talented Drama Teacher to join a fantastic school in Truro. A positive attitude and a passion for helping children learn are a must! We are seeking a suitably qualified and highly motivated English teacher ready to be part of an energetic team who are eager to embrace new ideas. This role is offering full time hours on a temporary basis.
The role will commence in January and be on going on a permanent basis for the right person.
Your role will include:
*Planning and teaching
*Assessing following the school marking policy
*Promoting good progress and outcomes
*Adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils
*Managing behaviour effectively
*Demonstrating good curriculum knowledge
*Liaising with parents
Requirements for the role include being a committed and talented teacher who is able to promote the schools ethos and values. The school is looking for someone who is a caring and nurturing person, adaptable and flexible with your methods as well as resilient and patient with challenging behaviors.
