We are recruiting a driven part / newly qualified Senior Management Accountant to join their established team based in Carlisle. Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, typical duties will include:
*Supporting the Financial Controller with the preparation of key elements of the monthly management accounts and KPI Reporting for all five companies within the group and consolidation of financial information in a timely and accurate manner.
*Performing key month-end reconciliations in the preparation of monthly management accounts, and interpreting these in a commercial context.
*Cashflow forecasting, and communication of the weekly cash flow forecast to the CFO and Commercial Director
*Capex and fixed asset register reporting, including analysis of project costs incurred on telecoms network build programmes.
*Supporting the year-end audit process and other statutory/regulatory requirements.
*Providing robust financial analysis and to identify trends across the Group entities, and supporting business cases.
*Working with the Financial Controller to help drive efficiencies in spend across the Group entities.

What you’ll need to succeed
Part or newly qualified technical Accountant ACA/ CIMA / ACCA
The skill set required would suit a first-time mover from Accountancy practice
Up-to-date technical accounting
Strong IT, Excel and communication skills, good commercial acumen
Proactive self-starter
Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and proven team management capability
