Job Description:
Role: Procurement Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £43,000 - £47,000
Contract: Permanent
Castlefield are currently recruiting a Procurement Manager vacancy for a Public Sector organisation in Manchester. The role offers hybrid working and a generous benefits package that includes flexi-leave and study support.
The Role:
*Responsible for end-to-end procurement projects in line with PCR 2015 and PCR 2023
*Oversee the contracts register, ensuring supplier relationships are managed
*Develop strong commercial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
*Ensure procurement activity falls in line with the organisation’s visions and values
*Advise departments on relevant procurement legislation
*Assist with the development of a robust procurement strategy
*Ensure value for money is maximised on projects and social value implemented
The Person:
*Public Sector procurement experience
*Worked on high value projects
*MCIPS or working towards
*Comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time
*Autonomous worker
