History teacher - January start - Manchester
Prospero work closely with a large secondary school in Manchester who are seeking a Qualified and enthusiastic teacher of history to join their team from January for the remainder of the academic year, the role could then become permanent. This role is a full-time position, you are required to hold (QTS) Qualified Teacher Status.
The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistant/management.

Contract type Full Time
Minimum rate of pay GBP162.31 per day
Hours 8:15am 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, SCITT or equivalent
Previous experience teaching History in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, but training can be provided)
Up to date Prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, but training can be provided)
History teaching experience in the UK
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional teaching related references
